Often seen as one of the best types of metabolic conditioning equipment on the market, the Concept 2 Rower is a staple of any CrossFit Gym. The Concept 2 rower is used by competitive rowers, CrossFitters and fitness enthusiasts. In its own right it delivers an effective cardiovascular workout which will increase your fitness level and tone your physique.

Rowing is regarded as low impact and helps promote great joint health through the wide range of motion rowing requires. Helping with the functional fitness movements which are an important part of everyday life.

Using the Concept 2 rower within a workout adds a great dimension to any WOD and is ideal on these cold wet days when running is not an option. With this in mind and with our progressive programming we are awaiting delivery of some new rowers to add to the fleet!

You can be guaranteed that there will not be any cold water but there will be some hard CrossFit fitness sessions ahead.

If you fancy something colder and wet you may want to head down the coast and catch some of the good surf we have been experiencing. Check out the Magic Seaweed Tynemouth web cam if getting wet is more your thing
